Three Easy Snack Recipes

Snac Times: My all time favorite meal of the day. I am always snacking, but I get tired of turning to chips or trail mix and sometimes I wants something with a little more to it. And if it tastes better well thats just a plus! These three easy snack recipes will have you passing the chip aisle all together!


Greek yogurt parfait



1. Peanut Butter & Banana Rice Cakes

A simple, satisfying, and healthy snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 rice cakes

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • Optional: Honey, chia seeds, or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Spread peanut butter evenly over the rice cakes.

  2. Top with banana slices.

  3. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle chia seeds or cinnamon, if desired.


2. Caprese Skewers

A fresh and tasty snack perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto each toothpick.

  2. Repeat until all ingredients are used.

  3. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.


3. Greek Yogurt Parfait

A creamy, crunchy, and sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

  • 1/2 cup granola

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

  • Optional: Honey or nuts

Instructions

  1. In a glass or bowl, layer Greek yogurt, granola, and mixed berries.

  2. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.

  3. Drizzle with honey or sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
